Inside the House of Blood is an experimental horror short blending human storytelling with artificial creation — featuring AI-generated visuals, sound, and music, directed, written, and edited by filmmaker Austin Bonang of Negative Space Pictures. 

"Haunted by grief and cut off from the world, a lonely father wages a nightly war against the demons emerging beneath his home while desperately hiding the truth from the adult daughter who believes he abandoned her." 

Synopsis:

After the death of his wife, Steve Mercer retreats into isolation after purchasing an old rural house from a mysterious stranger who promises the home can offer him a way to speak to the dead. Along with the deed comes an ancient occult book filled with rituals and warnings Steve is desperate enough to ignore. 

Deep beneath the house, he discovers a hidden side room made entirely of ancient granite, as well as a massive black fissure that splits the stone floor to ceiling — and every night at sundown, something crawls out.  

The first demon nearly kills him. The second reveals the horrifying truth: the creatures are coming for Steve — the man responsible for opening the gateway. But if they ever succeed in taking him, they will move on to the only loved one he has left alive: his daughter, Beth.

While Beth grieves the loss of her mother from another town, struggling to understand why her father has seemingly abandoned her — never realizing that every night he is fighting a war against Hell itself to ensure she never becomes its next target.  Armed with only a double-barreled shotgun, he spends every night waiting at the basement door for the next demon to emerge, trapped in an endless ritual of violence, fear, and isolation.
